Description

We are seeking dedicated Production Operators to join our aluminum and steel fabrication team. In this role, you will contribute to the efficient operation of production lines, handling metal processing, assembly, and quality assurance. This position is ideal for motivated individuals with a background in manufacturing, offering hands-on experience in a high-demand industry. No prior metalworking experience required—comprehensive training provided.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery such as extruders, rolling mills, welding equipment, and cutting tools to process aluminum and steel materials into sheets, profiles, or components.
  • Load and unload raw materials (e.g., ingots, coils) and monitor production processes to ensure consistent output and minimal downtime.
  • Perform basic assembly, inspection, and finishing tasks, including measuring dimensions, checking for defects, and applying coatings or treatments.
  • Maintain equipment by conducting routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments; report malfunctions to supervisors.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols, including wearing PPE (e.g., helmets, gloves, safety glasses) and following ISO 9001 and environmental standards for metal handling.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production quotas and support inventory control by tracking material usage.
  • Document production data, such as batch numbers and quality metrics, using digital systems or logs.
  • Assist in packaging and preparing finished products for shipment, ensuring compliance with Brazilian export regulations (e.g., ABNT standards).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Ensino Médio completo); technical certification in mechanics, metallurgy, or industrial operations is a plus.
  • Basic physical fitness to lift up to 30 kg, stand for long periods, and work in a noisy, temperature-variable environment.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts (up to 12 hours) and occasional overtime.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
  • Basic proficiency in Portuguese (reading/writing); English is advantageous for international teams.
  • Legal right to work in Brazil (e.g., CPF and work authorization).
  • Commitment to safety and teamwork in a fast-paced factory setting.

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Knowledge of aluminum/steel properties and basic metallurgy.
